Founder

Dr Debra Sharu (DPhil, ANP)

PDUK was founded by Dr Debra Sharu, an experienced clinician, educator, academic and author with more than 40 years’ experience in healthcare practice and education across the UK and USA.

Dr Sharu is a fully qualified family nurse practitioner and a true innovator in advanced practitioner education. She created PDUK more than 20 years ago to fill a gap in the market for high-quality healthcare CPD and clinical training.

Her book, Learning in the Workplace, examines a group of advanced nurse practitioners during their first year of professional practice.
