This one-day, in-person course provides an essential foundation in the assessment and management of chronic wounds. Designed for community and primary care nurses, it emphasizes practical, hands-on skills and evidence-based strategies to enhance patient care and improve healing outcomes for chronic wounds.
Special Focus: The course includes an introduction to the principles of lower limb ulceration assessment and care (without ABPI or compression therapy), ensuring participants can recognise venous and arterial ulcers, assess key clinical features, and identify when referral/escalation is required.
