This course is ideal for practitioners who need to develop their understanding of the mental healthcare needs of children and adolescents. Mental health (MH) disorders are increasing in this vulnerable patient group and providing early intervention, appropriate treatment and long-term support for them is one of the key challenges for the NHS. Many young people in need of MH services are currently unable to access treatment.
